DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a fire believed to be arson at the town’s old pumping station.
According to Scott Richardson, senior investigator with the fire marshal’s office, a pair of juveniles allegedly broke into the building on Reservoir Road on Saturday and set it ablaze.
No charges have been filed in connection with the case, Richardson said, but authorities continued to work on it Monday.
Richardson said the building is salvageable but radio and communications equipment inside was destroyed.
