WINDHAM, Maine — A 23-year-old Gorham man was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after his car left the road and collided with a tree.
A woman who lives on Windham Center Road said she heard the crash and rushed to the scene with her son, who is an EMT. When they found the crashed car, the 23-year-old was trapped between his car and a tree.
The man was rushed to Maine Medical Center, in Portland, to be treated for injuries that police said were serious.
Speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash, according to the Windham Police Department.
