BREWER, Maine — Police are investigating a report of a gunshot on Tuesday morning at the Cozy Inn motel on Wilson Street.
Very few details about the incident, which was reported shortly before 11 a.m., were available, according to Lt. Chris Martin of the Brewer Police Department.
Martin said a woman was taken to an area hospital, but police declined further comment.
Police have closed off a section of the motel, and the incident remains under investigation.
