HANOVER, New Hampshire — Audra Richards scored two goals to lift the University of Maine women’s hockey team by the Dartmouth College Big Green Tuesday night.

Richards scored her first goal with an assist from Mikayla Rogers 2:32 into the second period to give the Black Bears a 2-0 lead after Catherine Tufts had scored unassisted with 51 seconds left in the first period.

Dartmouth responded at the 5:48 mark of the second period when Morgan Turner scored off an assist from Kennedy Ottenbreit.

The Bears resumed their two-goal lead just 2:49 into the third period when Eve Boissonneault scored while Alyson Matteau picked up an assist. Richards added her second goal with 4:06 left in the game, with Brooklyn Langlois notching an assist.

Dartmouth outshot Maine 27-16, but Bears goalie Mariah Fujimagari finished with 26 saves. Christie Honor had 12 saves for Dartmouth.

Maine is now 6-6 and Dartmouth is 2-2-2.
