Ernie Clark continued his dominance over his fellow Bangor Daily News staff members this fall.

The Dover-Foxcroft native closed out the season with a 16-4 week to secure his second straight title in the 50th BDN Football Forecast. It was the seventh staff championship for Clark, who also was the guest champion before joining the Sports staff.

Clark successfully picked 161 of 200 games over the 10-week contest, compiling an .805 winning percentage. He finished a full seven games ahead of runners-up Ryan McLaughlin and Joe McLaughlin, who went 154-46 (.770) after closing out the season with an 18-2 effort.

Larry Mahoney took fourth at 153-47, followed by Pete Warner (145-55), John Holyoke (142-58) and season guest Joe Cyr of the Houlton Pioneer Times, who wound up 133-67.

Jim Churchill closed out an impressive season for the weekly guests, posting a 16-4 that gave them a combined 153-47 ledger.
