STETSON – Wendy (Mattson) Hood, 51, died unexpectedly November 17, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 4, 1964 in Portland, a daughter of Frank and Nancy (Hartman) Mattson.
Wendy was a CNA but was also trained as a certified dog trainer, which was her passion.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rick, her daughter Natasha, and granddaughter Ellie Riley Brown, all of Stetson; a sister, Kim Mattson of New Vineyard; 2 brothers, John Mattson of Portland, and Frank Mattson of VA; many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport.
