RICHMOND, Maine — The deaths of two pet cattlein this town was no accident but a horrible case of animal cruelty, according to Richmond police.
Daria Goggins found on Friday her pet Holstein cattle, Theodore and Isadora, dead near their pasture. Theodore and Isadore each suffered one fatal wound, police said.
Police have ruled out a hunting accident and said someone intentionally went to the residence with the intent to inflict harm to the cows.
Anyone with information about the deaths of Theodore and Isadora are asked to call the Richmond Police Department at 737-8518.
