AUGUSTA, Maine — Local police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly robbed a credit union on Edison Drive, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page Tuesday evening.
The man, wearing sunglasses and a heavy jacket with a hood covering his head, reportedly robbed the Trademark Federal Credit Union on Tuesday afternoon, according to a photo posted with the statement. He did not display a weapon, but demanded money from the teller, the report states.
Messages left with the Augusta Police Department for more details were not immediately returned.
