New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola will miss Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos with a knee injury.
Amendola was injured Monday night in the Patriots’ win over the Buffalo Bills. He did not travel with the team to Denver.
Starting linebacker Jamie Collins and tight end Michael Williams also will not play Sunday for the Patriots (10-0). Collins will miss his fourth straight game with an undisclosed illness. Williams (knee) is New England’s No. 2 tight end.
Amendola was listed as questionable on the Friday injury report after practicing on a limited basis during the week. He has 49 receptions for 520 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Amendola’s absence will leave the Patriots without three of their top four wide receivers. Julian Edelman (foot) will not play this week and Aaron Dobson (ankle) is out for the season.
Veteran receiver Keshawn Martin is questionable for Sunday with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the past five games, leaving the Patriots with Brandon LaFell and Chris Harper as their only healthy receivers.
Also on Saturday, the Patriots signed tight end Asante Cleveland and linebacker Darius Fleming to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and released defensive back Dewey McDonald.
