BREWER, Maine — Two male motorists were injured in a two-vehicle crash shortly after 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of North Main and Wilson streets, Brewer police Sgt. Paul Gauvin said.
The two were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries, including neck pain, Gauvin said.
While the names of the people involved were not immediately available, Gauvin said that it appears that the driver of a Subaru station wagon making a left turn onto North Main Street from the Joshua Chamberlain Bridge failed to yield for a small GMC pickup truck.
The crash tied up traffic for about 40 minutes, the sergeant said.
