BATH, Maine — Two people were arrested on Thursday, Dec. 3, after a search warrant was executed at a South Street apartment, according to Bath Police Chief Mike Field.
The search warrant was based on several weeks of alleged drug activity at the residence, Field said.
Lucas Elwell, 34, of Bath was arrested and charged with criminal trespass upon police entering, the police chief said. He had been served with a criminal trespass warrant the previous day after the property owner had made complaints to police.
Upon searching the apartment, illegal prescription pills, marijuana, spice, psilocybin mushrooms, empty Suboxone packages, hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia were found, Field said.
Also arrested and charged with multiple drug crimes was the renter of the apartment, Debra Lully, 34, Field said.
Lully was charged with the following crimes: Violation of conditions of release, unlawful possession of Schedule X drugs, unlawful possession of Schedule Y drugs, unlawful possession of Schedule Z drugs, unlawful possession of hypodermic apparatuses, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
Elwell bailed from the Bath police station on $500 bond, and Lully is being held without bail at Two Bridges Regional Jail.
