BANGOR, Maine — About 1,100 Emera Maine customers in eight Piscataquis County towns were without power on Friday afternoon due to a downed power line, officials said.
Towns affected include Atkinson, Barnard Township, Bowerbank, Brownville, Dover-Foxcroft, Sebec, Orneville and Williamsburg. The utility expected electrical service to be restored by 3:45 p.m., officials said.
