BANGOR, Maine — A man who was operating his wheelchair early Monday evening was taken to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle, a Bangor Police Department official confirmed Monday night.
The Griffin Road incident occurred about 5:30 p.m., according to Lt. Cathy Rumsey.
