ROCKLAND, Maine — Two men were charged New Year’s Eve night when police said their fight ended up breaking a window at the police station.

Kevin Johns, 22, of Owls Head and Cote McClure, 23, of Friendship were both charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, Rockland police Sgt. Donald Finnegan said.

Finnegan said the two intoxicated men decided to engage in a fistfight directly behind the police station. Through the course of the short fight, they ended up pushing each other around and went through a ground-level window of the detectives’ office, he said.
