BANGOR, Maine — Service was restored shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday to an estimated 2,500 Emera Maine customers in Hancock County who were without electricity for most of the day.
Communities affected included Franklin, Sorrento, Sullivan, Eastbrook and Waltham, according to spokesman Bob Potts. Crews were sent to the area to determine the cause of the outage and make the necessary repairs.
