EDDINGTON, Maine — Emera Maine customers in the Eddington area will briefly lose power Monday afternoon because of a repair of a broken pole, the company said in a statement.

Customers in Eddington, Mariaville, Holden, Clifton, Bradley and Amherst are affected, the company said.

The pole was broken because of a motor vehicle crash on Main Road.

According to a dispatcher at Penobscot Regional Communications Center, the crash involved one vehicle, and no serious injuries were reported.

Service was expected to be restored by 3:30 p.m.
