BURNHAM, Maine — A day after Waldo County sheriff’s deputies were granted an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with a Class A robbery a week ago, the man was caught, according to Jason Trundy, chief deputy of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office.

David Pedone, no age provided, was wanted in connection with the Jan. 8 felony robbery.

“He was taken into custody last night,” Trundy said in a Saturday afternoon news release. “We will release additional information this week regarding the ongoing investigation.”

Pedone’s last known address was in East Newport, but he has connections to Pittsfield, Hartland and Fairfield.

Those with information about the robbery are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 338-2040.

Pedone faces a penalty of up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000, if convicted of Class A robbery.
