SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Maine Turnpike traffic was being hindered Tuesday by a tractor-trailer crash along the southbound lanes, according to state police.
The crash occurred around mile 42 and traffic was backed up as far as two miles Tuesday afternoon, state police reported.
The tractor-trailer unit was in a ditch off the travel lane of the road and delays were expected throughout the afternoon commute.
No other information was disclosed.
