WESTBROOK, Maine — Police are investigating a robbery at Tom and Jerry’s Car Wash on Main Street.
The robbery occurred late Monday night, when the owner was assaulted by two men, according to a statement issued by the Westbrook Police Department.
According to the statement, the owner and his wife were bound while the business was ransacked, and the robbers fled with cash.
Items of evidence have been collected by police, but no arrests have been made.
The victims were treated by Westbrook police, and the investigation is ongoing. Police have interviewed both victims.
