HENNIKER, New Hampshire — Utshana Durham and Tanner Favreau paced a balanced offensive effort with 15 points each as the New England College Pilgrims handed the Husson University Eagles their first North Atlantic Conference loss, 84-76 in women’s basketball action Friday night.
LaQuil McKnight contributed 14 points and eight rebounds, Breana Ramirez logged a double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds, Marjani Lillard chipped in with 10 points and Tiffany Davis racked up 17 rebounds for New England College (12-6, 6-5 NAC), which outscored the visitors 25-9 from the foul line and outrebounded them 63-41.
Rebecca Young paced Husson University of Bangor (12-5, 10-1 NAC) with a game-high 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots. Chandler Guerrette tossed in 18 points, while Kenzie Worcester (6 rebounds) and Darla Morales provided 11 and 10 points, respectively. Victoria McIntyre finished with eight points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists.
The Eagles led by seven with 4:30 left in regulation, but Favreau scored five points to help the hosts get even and added five points in the OT to help NEC prevail.
MMA 58, Colby-Sawyer 53
At New London, New Hampshire, Alayne Felix scored six of her game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter to help the Mariners pull out a 58-53 North Atlantic Conference victory over the Chargers.
Felix also grabbed six rebounds for Maine Maritime Academy of Castine (10-7, 6-4 NAC), which received 15 points from Megan McLean. Kristi Willey grabbed a game-best 10 rebounds.
Lexi Iannone led Colby-Sawyer (10-7, 7-4 NAC) with 13 points and nine rebounds and Morgan Fogg added nine points.
UMF 73, Lyndon St. 48
At Lyndon, Vermont, UMaine-Farmington shot a combined 69.5 percent from the field (16 of 23) in the second and third quarters to earn the North Atlantic Conference win and a series sweep.
Cheyenne Malloy scored a game-high 17 points to lead UMF (10-7, 8-2 NAC). Meghan Smith followed with 11 points and six rebounds. while Kennadi Grover also had 11 points.
Aimee Thompson powered Lyndon (3-14, 2-9) with a team-high 13 points and six rebounds. Victoria Carlson added 10 points.
Johnson St. 68, Thomas 44
At Johnson, Vermont, Amanda Bednarick scored 15 points and the Badgers outrebounded the Terriers 40-25 to take the North Atlantic Conference win.
Nicole Menard netted 13 points and Domonique Carter-Stanley (5 steals) tallied 12 for Johnson State (8-10, 5-6 NAC). Kasey DeGreenia contributed a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Kate McAllister tossed in a game-high 20 points to pace Thomas College of Waterville (2-16, 1-10 NAC). Ashleigh Gagne added nine points.

Husson 103, NEC 89
At Henniker, New Hampshire, the Eagles racked up 56 first-half points on the way to a North Atlantic Conference win over the Pilgrims.
Raheem Anderson and Darryl Wood (8 rebounds) paced Husson University of Bangor (13-4, 10-1 NAC) with 21 and 20 points, respectively. Trevon Butler (4 assists) tallied 16 points and Tyler Norris added 10 points.
Dezron Wilson was the catalyst for New England College (5-13, 2-9 NAC) as he piled up a triple-double consisting of 25 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Tyrone Jackson netted 13 points and Ricky Leonard scored 11 for the hosts, while Jakhalil Smith and Frantzy Georges tacked on 10 points each.
Lyndon 78, UMF 50
At Lyndonville, Vermont, the Hornets scored 45 second-half points to pull away for the North Atlantic Conference win.
Shaun Hill and Gabriel Torres propelled Lyndon State (6-10, 4-6 NAC) with 18 points each and Jose Berroa provided 11 points and six rebounds.
Anfernee Dent paced the University of Maine-Farmington (2-13, 2-7 NAC) with 13 points and Nick Hilton posted 10 points and six rebounds.
Thomas 95, Johnson St. 74
At Johnson, Vermont, Levi Barnes went 14-for-18 from the field on his way to a game-high 36 points to power the Terriers to the NAC victory.
Tyheem Simon tossed in 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds and Carlos Gonzalez registered 14 points and eight rebounds for Thomas College of Waterville (10-8, 6-5 NAC).
Benjamin Holl’s 23 points led Johnson State (5-13, 5-6 NAC). Asim Khan contributed 13 points and nine rebounds and Demetrius Slade added 12 points.

At New London, New Hampshire, the Chargers outscored the Mariners 25-5 from the foul line and forced 26 turnovers to earn a North Atlantic Conference victory.
Peter Donato led Colby-Sawyer (12-5, 8-3 NAC) with 21 points and eight rebounds and Milani Hicks notched 15 points and seven rebounds. Taylor Grande added 12 points.
Tyler Thayer connected for a game-high 23 points to lead Maine Maritime Academy of Castine (3-14, 2-8 NAC). Dylan Stevens and Zach Radcliffe (5 assists) added nine and eight points, respectively.
