PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Derek Healy made three of his four free throws in the final 27 seconds on Tuesday, helping the University of Maine-Presque Isle hold on for a 77-75 men’s basketball victory over the University of Maine-Machias.

Healey finished with 18 points to head a balanced scoring effort for the Owls, who received 17 points from Chase Vicaire, 15 points from Brandon McGill and 11 points from Kevin Collins.

Jorge Milo poured in a game-high 30 points, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds to pace the Clippers. Ben Teer tallied 19 points and Ivory Sneed Jr. added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Husson 93, Bowdoin 72

At Bangor, Raheem Anderson connected for 22 points and provided five assists and three steals to lead Husson University of Bangor to victory over Bowdoin at Newman Gym.

Eli Itkin netted 14 points, while Trevon Butler (7 rebounds, 4 assists) and Darryl Wood (6 rebounds) tossed in 13 points each for the Eagles (15-4), who shot 52 percent (36-for-69) from the field.

Lucas Hausman paced Bowdoin College of Brunswick (9-8) with a game-high 28 points, including four 3-pointers and 10-for-10 free-throw shooting. Hugh O’Neil finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Blake Gordon added 10 points for the Polar Bears.

Bates 91, UM-Farmington 71

At Farmington, the Bobcats outscored the Beavers 46-32 in the second half to pull away for the win.

Mike Boornazian led Bates College of Lewiston (10-10) with 20 points and seven rebounds and Josh Britten scored 14 points. Malcolm Delpeche (6 rebounds) and Shawn Strickland (5 assists) chipped in with 11 points each for the Bobcats, who went 19-for-42 (45 percent) from the 3-point arc and outrebounded the hosts 45-24.

Ryan Camire sparked the University of Maine-Farmington (2-16) with 16 points, while Eric Berry (4 steals), Alan Young (4 assists) and Nick Hilton (5 rebounds) tossed in 10 points apiece.

Colby 71, USM 70

At Fifield Court in Gorham, Pat Dickert made a jumper with 51 seconds to play and the Mules got a stop to preserve a victory over the host Huskies.

The Mules were led by 17 points from Chris Hudnut and Sam Willson added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Luke Westman and Patrick Stewart each scored 10 points and Dickert finished with seven.

Five players scored in double figures for the Huskies, led by 17 points from Atencio Martin, who grabbed nine rebounds. Jose Nouchanthavong tallied 14 points and Cole Libby tallied 13 points while Zach Leal and Omar Haji-Hersi each scored 10 points.

Women’s Basketball

UMPI 51, UMM 43

At Presque Isle, Brianna Losee connected for a game-best 20 points to lead the Owls to victory.

Jessica Dickison contributed seven points, five rebounds and five steals for the University of Maine-Presque Isle (4-18).

Ami Carver turned in a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds to propel the University of Maine-Machias (5-13) and Shannon Garland provided 11 points and seven rebounds.
