FORT WAYNE, Indiana — Coty Clarke finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds on Tuesday night to carry the Maine Red Claws to a 108-97 NBA D-League victory over Fort Wayne at Allen Co. War Memorial Stadium.
Corey Walden followed with 20 points of his own for the Red Claws (15-13), who turned a 17-17 tied midway through the first quarter into a 69-49 halftime advantage.
Omari Randolph and Levi Johnson chipped in with 16 and 14 points, respectively, for Maine.
Maine held a 91-70 at the end of the third quarter, then held off a charge by the Mad Ants (13-14), who weren’t able to get closer than 10 in the fourth.
C.J. Fair paced Fort Wayne with 22 points while Shayne Wittington and Rakeem Christmas each posted a double-double. Wittinton had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Christmas chipped in 13 and 10, respectively.
