CHINA, Maine — A trio of Edgecomb residents who traded stolen grow lights for heroin were arrested on Thursday, according to state police.
Mark James, 49, Lisa Gosselin, 40, and Tricia Barry, 42, were arrested and charged with theft, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
The grow lights were stolen from a store in China three days before Christmas from Laverdiere’s General Store, McCausland said.
The trio allegedly traded the items for heroin hours after the theft.
The grow lights, which were worth over $500, have not been recovered, McCausland said.
In addition to the theft charge, Barry had two unrelated warrants out of Kennebec County. All three suspects were taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset.
