SOUTH CHINA, Maine — A vehicle parked in a driveway off Route 32 was destroyed in a fire Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The blaze was reported around 3 p.m., South China Fire Chief Dick Morse said. Route 32 is known locally as Windsor Road.
No injuries were reported. The driver, who was not identified, was not in the vehicle at the time of the fire, Morse said.
South China firefighters were able to contain the blaze quickly, and no mutual aid was required.
No explosions occurred during the fire.
