VEAZIE, Maine — The town is seeking applicants for a position on the school board that opened up when Chairman Gavin Batchelder moved to another community, rendering him ineligible for the Veazie post.
Town Manager Mark Leonard said the Town Council likely will fill the position during its Feb. 22 meeting.
Residents interested in serving on the school board should fill out a citizen involvement application available at the town office or for submission or download from the town’s website, Leonard said.
