JONESBORO, Maine — A Maine resident died Monday afternoon in a snowmobile crash, according to the Maine Warden Service.
The name and hometown of the deceased was not released pending notification of family members.
The snowmobile was on the Sunrise Trail when it crossed Woods Road and struck a logging truck about 2 p.m. Monday, according to the warden service.
No laws were broken but the speed of the snowmobile was considered to be a factor.
The accident continues to be investigated by the warden service.
