SANGERVILLE, Maine — A home on Frenchs Mill Road was destroyed by fire on Wednesday, officials said.
The fire at the two-story residence broke out shortly before noon, according to Lt. Marc Boutilier of the Sangerville Fire Department.
Boutilier said half of the house was gone when firefighters arrived to battle the blaze, so there was nothing crews could do to save the home.
A cause has not been determined, and the fire remains under investigation.
Crews from Sangerville, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford and Monson were sent to the home.
