LYMAN, Maine — A woman is in critical condition after her car crashed into a tree Monday night, according to state police.
Amber Desmond, 24, lost control on an icy Walker Road around 9 Monday night, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
A passenger, Sara Knight, 35, was treated and released from Southern Maine Medical Center. Both women are from Springvale.
Desmond remains at Maine Medical Center on Tuesday.
