PORTLAND, Maine — A man has been arrested in connection with four dumpster fires allegedly set Wednesday night, police said.

Bobby Lee Wright, 48, of Westbrook is facing an arson charge, according to a statement from Portland police.

Police were called to Brighton Avenue around 9 p.m. Wednesday to the rear of businesses for four dumpster fires, and Wright was arrested after police searched the area and talked to witnesses.

The fires were extinguished quickly and the incident remains under investigation.
