SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine — South Portland police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect after a pedestrian was struck by a car Monday night.
It happened on Hill Street in the area of Lombard Street around 11:20 p.m.
The victim was brought to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Police said the suspect vehicle did not stop or slow down and continued on towards Evans Street.
Witnesses in the area described the vehicle as a dark-colored, four-door sedan, possibly an Audi.
The vehicle turned left onto Hill Street from Broadway near Campbell’s just before the incident.
