PORTLAND, Maine — Portland police were at the scene early Wednesday morning of what they were calling a “serious incident.”
Officers were focusing on a building at 88 Gilman St., near Maine Medical Center.
Police did not say much about the nature of the incident, but the medical examiner was on scene and brought out what appeared to be a body around 5 a.m.
Portland television station WMTW is reporting that one person is dead and that no one is in custody.
