INDUSTRY, Maine — A local man is facing multiple charges after police recently learned he was acting inappropriately with underage children, according to Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Tim Haley was charged with unlawful sexual contact, a Class B crime, along with unlawful sexual touching, a Class D offense, Nichols said.
An investigation was conducted on Tuesday after it was reported Haley may have been acting inappropriately at an Industry Road residence, Nichols said.
Haley was arrested Thursday after multiple interviews, along with forensic interviews with the victims, Nichols said.
Haley is being held without bail at the Franklin County Jail.
The Department of Health and Human Services assisted in the investigation.
