CAPE ELIZABETH, Maine — The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust is planning to preserve part of the town by buying 21 acres of land next to Great Pond.
The organization said it has had its eyes on the property for a while, which is mostly wetland and forest. The nonprofit plans to expand and improve a trail network for residents to enjoy.
The land trust said there is a wide variety of animals in the area and said they’ll help the wildlife service monitor them.
The lot is listed for just under $550,000.
