WESTBROOK, Maine — Westbrook police announced Friday afternoon that missing Westbrook teen Lual Bandayo had been located “safe and sound.”
On Friday morning, police requested help from the public in locating Bandayo, 14, who was last seen about 8 p.m. Thursday at his home on Cumberland Street, Westbrook police Capt. Steven Goldberg said.
Goldberg said police had only been notified that Bandayo was missing late Friday morning.
At 1 p.m. Friday, Westbrook police said Bandayo had reportedly been spotted wearing different clothing at the Maine Mall in South Portland.
Fifteen minutes later, police announced that he had been found and was being reunited with his family.
