JOHNSON, Vermont — Brandon Corbo posted three goals and an assist on Saturday afternoon Husson University of Bangor posted an 8-4 North Atlantic Conference men’s lacrosse victory over Johnson State.
Brett Martin and Trent Sell each scored twice for the Eagles (2-5, 2-0 NAC) and Brandon Bosse netted one goal. Matt Martin made four points.
For Johnson State (0-4, 0-1 NAC), Jefferson Lawler, Andrew Neddo, Mason Phillips and Rhys Keenhold scored a goal apiece. Jay Palmisano amassed 28 saves.
Castleton 22, UMF 2
At Farmington Saturday, Kyle Lutinski came up with three goals and two assists to help the Spartans take a North Atlantic Conference win over the Beavers.
Sam Siegel (3 assists), Kyle Lutinski (2 assists), Taylor Swarter (assist), Tom Pardew (assist), Connor Kelly and Jason Sedell contributed two goals apiece for Castleton (5-3, 2-0 NAC). Brandon Myron, Romello Lindsey and Peter Latulippe combined to make five saves.
Travis St. Pierre scored both goals for the University of Maine-Farmington (0-5, 0-2 NAC). Isaac Wright and Casey Wrigley each had an assist while Caleb Carr made eight saves.
NEC 23, Thomas 4
At Waterville on Saturday, Daniel Medvetz tallied five goals and an assist to power the Pilgrims to a North Atlantic Conference victory.
Jarred Sausville scored four goals, Skyler Saunders (2 assists) netted three and Matt Richard came up with two goals and five assists for New England College (5-5, 3-0 NAC). William Platt and Daniel Tibbrinie teamed up to make two saves.
Colby Blondin and Kade Strout each scored twice for Thomas (0-5, 0-3 NAC). Connor Lamberton piled up 15 saves and Dakota Gendreau made four.

Colby-Sawyer 17, MMA 1
At New London, New Hampshire, Caitlyn Whearty scored five goals and Nicole Lavigne notched four goals and two assists in the Chargers’ North Atlantic Conference victory over the Mariners on Saturday.
Stevie Klein provided three goals and an assist for Colby-Sawyer (4-4, 3-0 NAC), while Maryalice Gurnee scored twice. Meghan Castellano made five saves.
Sierra James scored for Maine Maritime Academy of Castine (0-7, 0-3 NAC). Christina Wilson made 10 saves and James came on to make 11.
NEC 13, Thomas 7
At Waterville on Saturday, Tara Bainbridge provided three goals and two assists while Gabriella Bigos and Kasondra Moniz netted three goals each as the Pilgrims took a North Atlantic Conference win.
Elizabeth Bois scored two goals for New England College (4-5, 2-1 NAC) and Allison Granata (4 assists) and Alana Scott had one each. Mackenzie Meegan made eight saves.
Erin Nelligan paced Thomas (1-5, 1-2 NAC) with three goals, Samantha Greenlaw posted two goals and three assists and Sophia LaVallee scored twice. Brittany Fox made eight stops.
Castleton 23, UMF 5
At Farmington on Saturday, Brianna MacKay’s eight-goal, three-assist effort propelled the Spartans to a North Atlantic Conference win.
Brandi Whittemore collected five goals and two assists for Castleton (4-4, 2-0 NAC). Grace Johnson scored three times and Maria Ploof tallied two goals and three assists. Meghan Els made three saves.
The University of Maine-Farmington (2-3, 0-2 NAC) got two goals from Alaina Shorey and a goal apiece from Rhi Jackson, Jaclyn Langevin and Sierra Gilley. Alyssa Arsenault finished with 15 saves.
Husson 20, Johnson St. 5
At Johnson, Vermont, Alissa Fallon (2 assists), Cassidy Roderick (assist) and Mattie Russell (assist) netted four goals apiece as the Eagles beat the Badgers on Saturday.
Serian Williams provided two goals and an assist for Husson University of Bangor (2-4, 1-1 NAC). Amanda Deshaies (2 assists), Theresa Butler (2 assists), Brooke Quirion (assist), Anna Wolterbeek, Denise Lyakhovich and Samara Oliver scored a goal apiece.
Kaitlin Dolloff made four saves.
For Johnson State (0-4, 0-4 NAC), Nichole Weeks led the way with four goals and an assist. Shannon Rooney notched a goal and an assist and Kaitlin Boucher made seven saves.
Baseball
Wesleyan sweeps Colby
At Waterville on Saturday, the Cardinals took advantage of six walks and two errors to post a 3-1 win in the first game en route to a NESCAC doubleheader sweep of the Mules.
Wesleyan won the second game 21-1.
In the opener, Peter Rantz held Colby (4-10) to one unearned run through six innings and struck out five to notch the win. Nick Micelli pitched the seventh to get the save for Wesleyan (13-3).
Ryan Quinn hit an RBI single for the hosts and Tyler Starks singled twice to support losing pitcher Soren Hanson, who allowed two runs (one earned) in 6⅓ innings. He fanned six.
Marco Baratta singled in a run in the fifth for Wesleyan, then Matt Jeye posted a run-scoring single in the seventh, during which Colby made two errors.
In the second game, Wesleyan had nine doubles among its 24 hits and led 14-0 after three innings.
Guy Davidson had two doubles among his three hits and drove in four runs, while Ellis Schaefer had three hits and scored four runs. Keith had two hits and drove in five runs. Micelli pitched five innings for the iwn.
Softball
Williams sweeps Colby
At Waterville on Saturday, the Ephs scored 13 runs in 12 innings, sweeping a NESCAC doubleheader against the Mules by scores of 11-3 and 12-3.
In the opener, Brooke Bovier and Dana Cohen combined on a no-hitter to pace Williams (14-5). Bovier struck out five in 4⅓ innings while Cohen struggled, walking six.
Alejandra Magana paced the Ephs with a double, a single and two RBIs, Erica Li tripled and singled, and Kacey Cramer hit a solo homer.
Julia Saul took the pitching loss for Colby (5-7).
In Game 2, winning pitcher Mackenzie Murphy drove in four runs with a homer and three singles to propel Williams. She spaced 10 hits while going the distance.
Li tripled and doubled with two RBIs and Priscilla Pino added two singles and an RBI.
Grace Farnkoff collected three singles for Colby while Skylar Labbe singled twice with an RBI and Katie McLaughlin doubled and singled.
