WINTHROP, Maine — A Winthrop teen says the hit-and-run driver who killed his dog has come forward.
Devin Firlotte says his dog, Lexi, was hit by a car and killed around 6:45 p.m Monday on Narrows Pond Road. Firlotte says Lexi was almost 2 years old.
Firlotte says the person who hit Lexi contacted his father.
He says Lexi was standing next to the mailbox when she was hit. He says his father was in the yard with her.
