DEXTER & BANGOR – Wallace Withee, Jr., 84, died April 5, 2016 at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. He was born February 9, 1932 in Dexter, a son of Wallace and Emma (Eastman) Withee, Sr.
Wallace served in the Army of Occupation in Germany and worked as a federal law enforcement officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. He moved back to Maine in 1989 after retiring.
Wallace is survived by 2 sons, Richard of Winslow and Kenneth of Sebec; 2 grandchildren.
A graveside funeral and committal service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, later in the spring.
