OXFORD, Maine — A firefighter was injured Wednesday night while battling an intense fire in Oxford.
The Sun Journal reports the fire started just after 9 p.m. at a home on Pottle Road.
Firefighters said the home was fully engulfed when they arrived.
There is no word yet on the extent of the firefighter’s injuries, though they are not considered to be life-threatening.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and the state fire marshal’s office will be at the scene Thursday.
