GOULDSBORO, Maine — Personnel from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Maine Warden Service and Maine State Police were in Gouldsboro on Monday night helping the Gouldsboro Police Department try to find Anthony Acompora, who fled a residence on West Bay Road around 4 p.m., the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post shortly before 8 p.m.
Acompora was wanted for questioning and was believed to be in the vicinity of Main Street in Prospect Harbor on foot. He last was seen wearing brown pants and boots and a blue hoodie.
He also may be wearing or in possession of a black-and-pink jacket. Anyone who sees Acompora is asked to call 911 immediately.
