WINSLOW, Maine — A Winslow High School student has been charged with terrorizing after investigators determined that he wrote a bomb threat in the boys’ restroom.
The student, 18-year-old Brandon Ward, first reported the threat to the school’s main office on April 8. The school was evacuated and searched by law enforcement.
After an investigation over the weekend, the Winslow Police Department determined that Ward wrote the threat before reporting it. He is scheduled to appear at Kennebec Superior Court on June 27.
