WINDHAM, Maine — Officers from the Windham Police Department and members of Windham Fire/Rescue responded early Saturday morning to Dunkin Donuts to assist a 35-year-old woman found unconscious and not breathing.
At approximately 1:39 a.m., officers from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s office, who were across the street when the call came in, also responded to the scene. Deputies performed CPR until rescue services arrived.
Efforts to resuscitate the woman were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman’s name is not being released pending notification of the family. The cause of death is under investigation.
