BANGOR, Maine — Crews will be busy throughout the city next week on multiple road projects that will affect traffic, according to a statement from Bangor Public Works.

The projects include a majority of work in the Broadway area, according to the statement.

Starting on Sunday night, crews will mill Broadway from Stillwater Avenue to Center Street from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., with work expected to last through Monday, while granite curbing and the replacement of manhole frames and a catch basin will start Wednesday. No delays are expected.

In addition, water line replacements will continue on Union Street from Interstate 95 to Vermont Avenue and on Hammond Street between Court and Union streets.

Also, crews are working to finish the new I-95 bridge on Union Street, and ramp closures are possible from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and seek alternate routes if possible.
