PORTLAND, Maine — One person may have been stabbed overnight outside Denny’s on Brighton Avenue, Portland police said.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the victim was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries. They believe he was stabbed but are still investigating.
Officers at the scene said there were no suspects yet, but they said it appears as though multiple people were involved. They were interviewing witnesses and following up on several leads.
Police said the incident happened in the restaurant’s parking lot.
