BERWICK, Maine — Berwick police are looking for suspects in an armed home invasion.

They say it happened last night at an apartment on Lyman Street.

Police say they think this was a targeted, drug-related incident. While no one was hurt, it still has some neighbors on edge.

In the past 25 years Cassandra Caliri says she’s seen her Berwick neighborhood change.

“It used to be a great neighborhood, I loved growing up here. It is terrible now,” Caliri said. “There’s been drug busts in our area and apparently a break-in. It’s not pleasant anymore.”

Police say they got a call a little after 9 Thursday night for the report of a home invasion at an apartment on Lyman Street.

Investigators say two men and two women threatened the people inside over money, and one of them showed a gun.

“It’s very nerve-racking because I have two small kids, my son’s 3, my daughter’s 8, and that’s something I really don’t ever want to happen in my house,” Caliri said.

Police say the suspects were in a black Jeep Cherokee.
