BANGOR, Maine — A traffic stop on Hammond Street early Thursday afternoon led to a drug investigation, city police said.
Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton did not have many details on the incident, but said in an email a vehicle was pulled over on Hammond Street for an unknown reason, and a subsequent drug investigation ensued.
The sergeant said a police canine was brought to the area to assist in the investigation.
No other details were available.
