Emera Maine announced Thursday that crews are planning to make emergency repairs to its electrical system on Friday that will require a temporary interruption of electric service in Millinocket.
The planned outage is expected to start at 9 a.m. and last for about three hours.
The work will affect customers from Medway Road off of Route 11 to the first corner of Medway Road, also known as Rice Farm Road.
In the event of inclement weather on Friday, the repairs and outage will take place on Monday.
