Get ready for the gimmicks and the angles, the high-flying moves and perhaps some tap-outs, too. Professional wrestling is returning to Bangor this summer.
World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE as it’s more commonly known, is bringing the WWE Live Summerslam Heatwave tour to the Cross Insurance Center at 7:30 p.m. July 16, the City of Bangor and Spectra Venue Management, managers of the Cross Center, announced Monday.
Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Cesaro, Big Show, Deman Kane, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and more are expected to appear … though that lineup could change.
Tickets will start at $19, and will be available beginning May 14 at 10 a.m. for the general public. They can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000, or at the Cross Insurance Center box office located at 515 Main St. in Bangor.
