BREWER AND ST. ALBANS – Dorothy (Clukey) Peters, 77, formerly of St. Albans, died May 8, 2016 at a Brewer health care facility. She was born in Bangor, May 9, 1938, daughter of Raymond C. and Mabel (Keezer) Clukey.
She was a graduate of Bangor High School and was a CNA for 35 years. Dorothy was very motherly to everyone and a very caring sister and friend. She enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, dancing, and history.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by two sons, Jeffery Smith and Daniel Smith; and a brother, Philip Clukey. She is survived by her husband, Glendon K. Peters of Brewer; children, Bonnie Kolina of WA, Victoria Hunt of Waterville, Tammy Waltman of Corinna, and Susan Walton of Brewer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers Maurice Clukey of St. Albans, Kenneth Clukey, Charles Clukey of St. Albans; a sister Barbara Davis of Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.
