NAPLES, Maine — A local man was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash late Tuesday on the Lake House Road, officials said.
Caleb Humphrey, 31, was traveling north when he lost control and was ejected from the Yamaha three-wheeler, a statement from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said.
Humphrey was not wearing a helmet and was the lone occupant of the ATV, the statement said.
Humphrey was brought to Bridgton Hospital before being taken via LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center, the statement said. He was listed in serious condition Wednesday.
Deputies believe a mechanical failure was the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
