Game notes: The Black Bears have won five of their last seven, but dropped two of three last weekend at Albany. UMaine sits in sixth place thanks in part to a .251 team batting average that has produced only 3.8 runs per game. The Bears also have struck out 7.2 times per outing. The third-place Seawolves have lost nine of their last 12 overall after being swept in three games at Binghamton. Stony Brook has not distinguished itself in any one category, but has been competitive, although the Seawolves are 5-19 on the road this spring. Clarke leads the league in ERA and Lee ranks second, with Fullmer holding down the No. 3 spot. SBU has won seven straight meetings between the two clubs.
